Here it is — one of the most powerful works in the collection Full Speed: the Ford Raptor, breaking through dust and chaos. This commission became a true ode to freedom, control, and dominance off-road. But to arrive at this final result, we went through a journey — from the initial idea to the last brushstroke — together with the vehicle’s owner, Greg LaVecchia.

Sketches for the Raptor Painting

Every Movement — Carefully Planned Before the brush touched the canvas, there were sketches. We experimented with angles, composition, and direction of motion. Greg wanted to feel a sense of freedom — as if the Raptor was breaking through any obstacle in its way. Every line was created with his connection to the vehicle in mind — as if the truck wasn’t just driving, but fighting for its path.

Painting Process of the Raptor

The foundation of the painting is laid — a clear, powerful image of the vehicle begins to emerge.

From this moment on, the Raptor starts to take on character: the contours sharpen, the lines gain confidence, and the energy becomes tangible.

The car is complete — the hardest part is over.

At this stage, I work with absolute precision and focus on every detail. There’s no room for error: I’m not just painting a car, I’m recreating the collector’s beloved machine — exactly as he feels and sees it. This is more than an image — it’s a reflection of a personal bond, memories, and emotions embedded in every line and curve.

The background is ready — the painting has taken on a complete, recognizable form.

Now it’s time to share it with Greg and see how it aligns with his vision.

Next comes the key stage: background acceleration. This is where I switch off logic and fully enter a state of flow, aiming to convey not just motion, but the collector’s inner world — his character, energy, and drive forward.

For its owners, it’s more than just a car — it’s a reflection of who they are. That’s what I aimed to express in Greg’s painting: not just the image of his Ferrari 812 GTS, but a glimpse of the unique feeling that comes with owning a Ferrari.

Sketch: a moment from the future

We started with the idea of motion — not a static view, but a sense of flight.

I wanted the Ferrari to burst into the scene as if coming straight out of the Raptor painting, with the Raptor chasing behind.

The first sketch captured that feeling perfectly, and Greg approved it right away.

Unlike the Raptor, this was about conveying grace in motion, not brute force.

Every line, highlight, and reflection had to be precise.

Ferrari isn’t about pressure — it’s about control and quiet confidence.

Acceleration: the art of dissolution

Finale: elegance at full speed

The painting is complete. The Ferrari 812 GTS appears like a reflection of speed on the surface of water.

It doesn’t shout — it glides, leaving behind a trail of light and energy. This is more than just a depiction of a car. It’s a psychological portrait of motion, created with respect, precision, and deep empathy.
